Restorative yoga is not as much doing or moving as a typical yoga class but more about stillness and deeply relaxing your body. This type of yoga helps to encourage mindfulness, deepen self-awareness and soothe the nervous system.
Long, supported poses help your body to fully engage, soften, and relax which can allow a shift or
release of tension that your body quite often holds or stores by habit. Restorative yoga can be very calming for your over active mind and has other benefits such as helping the body recover from illness, stress and fatigue.
